This course is a building block that helps you to widen your vocabulary and become more self-assured in expressing yourself in Spanish. We begin these Spanish classes by examining the pronunciation of words related to time. We show you how to pronounce all the days of the week and the months of a year.
The course then moves on to using numbers in Spanish. We compare ordinal numbers (like 'quinto' and 'décimo') to cardinal numbers (like 'cinco' and 'dos') and explain when to use them in sentences. We then examine grammatical rules related to time. This Spanish class shows you how to tell the time and read a clock in Spanish. We then discuss the prepositions of time 'en’, 'por', 'a’, ‘con’, ‘de' and 'el' and discuss when to use each correctly.
Our final section goes through vocabulary related to events. We demonstrate how to use time words to explain what time of day an event may occur. This basic Spanish course systematically takes you through each section, using video and audio clips to enhance your learning experience and help you improve your pronunciation.
