This free online course Microsoft Excel Essentials starts at the very beginning by showing you how to get set up in Excel, how to personalise Excel to your needs and how to create, open and save workbooks. The course then moves onto how spreadsheets work and how to enter numbers, text and dates.
Next, the course takes you through essential functionality like fill, flash fill, Autosave as well as the different workbook views. Once you've mastered these basics, the course teaches you about the formulas and functions you'll need to know. It starts by looking at how formulas work before taking you through a few essential logical and lookup functions such as VLOOKUP and IF.
