The course also examines customer service, order fulfillment, omnichannel retailing, reverse logistics, loyalty programs, and modern retail formats. In addition, learners will discover how technologies such as ERP systems, RFID, barcoding, retail analytics, POS systems, and mobile applications enhance operational performance and customer experience.

Through practical retail-focused examples and industry-relevant concepts, learners will gain the knowledge needed to optimize supply chain performance, improve inventory availability, strengthen supplier relationships, and support business growth in modern retail environments.

By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to analyze, manage, and improve retail supply chain operations across procurement, logistics, distribution, customer fulfillment, and technology-enabled retail processes.

    Learn how retail distribution networks, replenishment systems, transportation planning, execution processes, logistics performance measurement, and sustainable transportation practices support efficient retail operations.

  2. Warehousing & Inventory Management Excellence 1.5 hours

    Explore warehouse operations, value-added services, cross-docking strategies, inventory management principles, inventory performance measurement, and supplier relationship management techniques.

  3. Procurement, Supplier Management & Global Sourcing 2 hours

    Develop practical knowledge of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, sourcing decisions, global sourcing strategies, and supplier relationship management for retail organizations.

  4. Customer Service, Order Fulfillment & Retail Operations 2 hours

    Examine customer service frameworks, order management processes, perfect-order fulfillment, omnichannel retailing, reverse logistics operations, and customer loyalty strategies.

  5. Retail Formats, Channels & Industry Applications 2 hours

    Analyze modern retail formats including cash-and-carry, rural retailing, airport retailing, non-store retailing, online shopping, digital payments, and service retail operations.

  6. Supply Chain Innovation & Retail Technology 3 hours

    Understand retail supply chain innovation, pre-pack planning, apparel and footwear supply chains, retail technology maturity, RFID, ERP systems, analytics, POS systems, and mobile retail applications.
